Hi there!  My name is Amy.  Welcome to The People’s Gourmet.  Here, you will find recipes, tips, tricks, and how-to’s for cooking uncomplicated, unprocessed, good, healthy food.  If you find yourself eating out of boxes or cans most of the time, or going through the drive-thru, and you want to change, this blog is for you.  If you’re someone who thinks you can’t cook, that it’s too time consuming, complicated, or expensive, this blog is for you.  My aim is to break down cooking into more simple, digestible parts and make it accessible to everyone.  The hardest part is getting started.  I’ll show you how.
